Hillwalking

Ireland has some great hiking to offer from the rolling uplands to hiking the heights of Carrauntoohil, Ireland's highest mountain. The scenery is wild and varied - from meandering valleys, deep lochs and spectacular hills to its windswept coastline. With a variety of scenery and plenty of challenges there are routes suitable for all ages and all levels.

How To Start

Walking is one of the best ways to experience Ireland's beautiful landscapes. There are a variety of beautiful, signposted walking trails for people with different levels of experience.

Those with map reading and compass skills can explore Ireland's rugged upland areas. Whatever level you are walking at remember, your personal safety is your responsibility.
